Ingredients
- 3 cupsbasmati rice
- 1.5 poundschicken thighs
- 2 largeonion
- 1 cupyogurt
- 2 tablespoonsginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoonsbiryani masala
- a pinchsaffron strands
- for garnishcilantro
- to tastesalt
- 3 tablespoonsoil
Instructions

Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes then drain.

Marinate chicken in yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, biryani masala, and salt for 1 hour.

In a pot, heat oil and fry sliced onions until caramelized. Set half aside for garnish.

Add marinated chicken to the pot and cook until tender.
