Ingredients
- 1 cupyellow lentils
- 1 mediumonion
- 1 mediumtomato
- 1 inchginger
- 4 clovesgarlic
- 1 teaspooncumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
- to tastesalt
- 2 tablespoonsoil or ghee
- for garnishcilantro
Instructions

Rinse lentils and boil with water until tender.

In a separate pan, heat oil or ghee and sauté cumin seeds and onions until golden.
