Ingredients

  • 1 cupyellow lentils
  • 1 mediumonion
  • 1 mediumtomato
  • 1 inchginger
  • 4 clovesgarlic
  • 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • to tastesalt
  • 2 tablespoonsoil or ghee
  • for garnishcilantro

Instructions

    Rinse lentils and boil with water until tender.
