- 1.5 poundschicken, cut into pieces
- 2 largeonion
- 1 cupyogurt
- 2 tablespoonsginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoonsbiryani masala
- 2green chilies
- 1 cupmint leaves
- 1 cupcilantro
- mixed teaspoonswhole spices (cloves, cardamom, bay leaf)
- 6 cupswater
- 4 tablespoonsoil
- to tastesalt
Instructions

Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, biryani masala, and salt for at least 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a large pot, add whole spices, and sauté onions until golden.
