- 1.5 poundschicken
- 2 largeonion
- 0.5 cupyogurt
- 1 inchginger
- 4 clovesgarlic cloves
- 3 tablespoonsbiryani masala
- a pinchsaffron
- to tastesalt
- 2 tablespoonsoil
Instructions

Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes, then cook until 75% done.

In a marinating bowl, mix chicken with yogurt, garlic, ginger, and biryani masala; marinate for at least 1 hour.

In a heavy pot, heat oil and fry sliced onions until golden.
